This book intends to promote and assist professionals to better understand the global burden of disease methodology. It introduces the GBD research thinking and work framework for most public health professionals and to systematically review the development history and characteristics of the GBD method. It focuses to what questions to be answered and how to answer in GBD study. For each topic, the representative literatures and works of GBD are introduced in the book, these representative literatures were selected by the authors on the basis of reading a large amount of the literature.
