| book description |
Little Grey Rabbit is one of the classic gems of children's literature. The series is being relaunched, tying in with a new, beautifully animated television adaptation, and will delight children as much today as when it was first published seventy years ago. One day, little Grey Rabbit bumps into Brush, the wandering hedgehog, who travels up and down the country like a gypsy. He tells her stories and asks for a winter coat in exchange. Of course, Hare doesn't want to give his coat to an old ragamuffin, but after a chat with Brush and a smoke of his wonderful pipe, he decides he's not such a bad fellow!Squirrel too finds the Hedgehog's simple ways charming, and the three friends collect scraps of material to make him fine new patchwork coat. So he may not have a penny, or a shoe, but the wandering hedgehog has a coat worthy of the Emperor of China -- and some new friends!
