Turbulence is one of the most widespread phenomena in the universe. It relates to processes within the atmosphere, ocean, and deep within the earth, as well as to stars. This book examines topics such as the helical mechanism of self-organization in nature and laboratory, and presents a unified approach to chaos and self-organization.;The chaotic and unpredictable behaviour of turbulent movement is difficult to study, and therefore the degree of understanding of turbulence is still far from complete.
